New single released and available for online purchase

Posted on November 7th, 2005 by administrator

Now available for purchase: Illusion of Joy – “A Place Outside,” the first single from the forthcoming album The Forever Syndrome. Go to the newly minted store at illusionofjoy.net for more info (such as a price). Payment can be made with any major credit/debit card or via a PayPal account.

“A Place Outside” is being released via Randy’s Alternative Music (catalogue # RAMA004). The Forever Syndrome will also be released on this label, along with a re-issue of Division (albeit, not a re-mastering, so if you already have a copy of the album, don’t bother buying it again). All of these will be available for purchase via the online store at illusionofjoy.net.

Other artists on the label are Digital Sex, Stephen Sheehan and Between The Leaves. Check them out.

New Illusion of Joy LP in the works

Posted on May 21st, 2005 by administrator

Work is in progress for a new album from Illusion of Joy. Entitled The Forever Syndrome, the album is expected to be ready for release this winter. Currently, seven songs (in various stages of completion) have been recorded and are expected to be included on The Forever Syndrome. This will be Illusion of Joy’s third full-length album, following-up last year’s release, Division. This will also be the first Illusion of Joy album recorded completely in Seth Warren’s home studio (also known as his apartment). Thus far The Forever Syndrome is a solo effort, although future collaboration(s) on certain songs has not been ruled out.
