IoJ Back Catalogue to be Reissued
Posted on April 13th, 2014 by administrator
Ten years ago today, the second full-length Illusion of Joy album, Division was released. Later this year, Division will be the first release from the IoJ back catalogue to be reissued.
When IoJ became sans label and fully independent with the release of No One Expects An Inquisition, all of the back catalogue went out of print. This meant that Division and The Forever Syndrome joined the ranks of Crystalline and Bitter in that no new copies of the discs were being manufactured. The planned reissue of Division will begin a multi-year project to bring all of the IoJ discography into full availability. The tentative reissue schedule is as follows:
Name of release | Scheduled for… | |
![]() |
Division | Fall 2014 |
![]() |
Crystalline | Summer 2015 |
![]() |
“A Place Outside” | Fall 2015 |
![]() |
The Forever Syndrome | Fall 2016 |
![]() |
“Michelle/Say It In Japanese” | Spring 2017 |
![]() |
Bitter | Fall 2017 |
At present all dates are “soft” and subject to change without notice. Still, what is displayed above is, at present, the framework for bringing IoJ’s back catalogue out of the deep freeze.
