Concluding a sonic journey begun over a decade prior, the final Electronic Saviors compilation has officially been released today. From the official website:

All things end. The Electronic Saviors compilation series began as an idea in 2008 when scene promoter, DJ and musician Jim Semonik was diagnosed with stage 2B colorectal cancer. What started out as an idea during radiation treatments blossomed into a musical project unparallelled in scene history. The first Electronic Saviors comp landed in 2010 on Metropolis Records and every two years since, the industrial music community has come together to stand against cancer; a disease that threatenes us all. ES has since raised and donated in excess of 75K for various charities including Cap For Kids, Bone Marrow Foundation, Gilda’s Club, Our Clubhouse, Foundation For Cancer Research and Wellness, Darkest Before Dawn, The University of Pittsburgh Medical School and various GoFundMe campaigns.

It is with great pride that Illusion of Joy appears as part of the epilogue to this long-running project. Available as part of the eight-disc “Prime” edition, the exclusive track “Vector Christ,” featuring Maresa Whitehead on lead vocals, can only be heard there. IoJ contributions to previous Electronic Saviors compilations include “Like Water” and “One Step Forward.”

Additionally, for those wishing for more of Maresa’s singing, she has also contributed the track “Sip The Stars” as part of a collaboration with Joe Antkiewicz and Lauren Casey under the banner Nothing But Sanctuary. She appeared on a previous Saviors compilation in a collaboration with Eric Eldredge (of Interface) under the banner entr0piique with track “54 Pills.”
